Multi-platinum punk-rock icons Blink-182 announce a massive world tour for 2023/2024, featuring the band’s original lineup with guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge. They also shares a new single Edging, marking the first time in a decade that trio have been in the studio together.

Since their humble beginnings nearly thirty years ago when they started playing in a San Diego garage, Blink-182 have sold over 50 million albums worldwide and rocked audiences from Adelaide to Zurich having become one of the defining punk-rock bands of their generation. According to The New York Times, “No punk band of the 1990s has been more influential than Blink-182.

Produced by Live Nation, the worldwide trek will start in March 2023 with group’s first ever performances in Latin America and will continue through North America and Europe, before wrapping up in Australia and New Zealand in February 2024. The tour also features multiple festival appearances, including Lollapalooza alongside co-headliners Billie Eilish & Drake and the 2023 edition of When We Were Young with Green Day among others.

With Tom DeLonge back after nearly a decade, fans can expect that electric on stage magic that the trio has delivered over the years.

Although Blink-182 already have many platinum records and blockbuster singles to their credit, they are looking forward for the 10th studio album, due in 2023. The first teaser, Edging, is a mid-tempo bouncy number loaded with Blink’s tried-and-tested stylistic devices, including punchy powerchords, a stellar drum performance and a light-hearted tongue-in-cheek set of lyrics.

The single was produced by band’s drummer Travis Barker: “I wanted to imagine as a listener what I wanted to experience, and at the same time as a band member we wanted to make it how it should sound production-wise in 2022.
