Helsinki based hard rockers The Rasmus exploded onto world stage with the release of their huge international hit In The Shadows. 2017 seen the release of their ninth studio album titled Dark Matters, they promote with an extensive world tour which takes them to Poland for the 2 shows, this September.

The Rasmus have had a long a successful career. The band was formed in 1995 while still in high school and their debut album Peep (1996), rapidly went gold in their homeland, making the members rock stars at the age of 16. They quickly recorded and released the follow-up Playboys, which also went gold and earned the group an Emma, Finland’s version of a Grammy. Their third album, Hell of a Tester, included Liquid, a track that was voted Best Single of the Year by Finland’s music critics. 2001’s Into went double platinum in its native country, with its debut single, F-F-F-Falling, going to the top of the charts. An international audience started to build, and the band toured throughout Europe. It paid off when 2003’s Dead Letters climbed to number one in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

They continue to be a major draw, playing to packed out crowd whenever they perform. The latest release Dark Matters contains fresh, contemporary sounds as well as those more typical darker tones and made a massive hit throughout Europe and was greatly received by the critics.

After the huge success of their last year’s shows in Warsaw and Krakow, The Rasmus will return to Poland once again, this September. On Sunday, 23rd they will perform in Stary Maneż in Gdańsk. Day later (Monday, 24th), the band will hit the stage in Centrum Koncertowe A2 in Wrocław. Support will come from bands The Shiver and Overlaps.
