Chart topping rock band Stone Sour has announced details of their highly anticipated fall European tour in support of the forthcoming album Hydrograd, which is out on June 30th via Roadrunner Records.

European leg of the Hydrograd world tour will begins in Moscow on November 10th and wrap up with a set at Milan’s Alcatraz on December 15th. The run of shows includes a total of six UK performances. Stone Sour will be supported by The Pretty Reckless, who will perform on all dates (with the exception of the Moscow and Paris). Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 26th.

To mark the announcement, the band have released a video for their new track Song #3. Directed by Ryan Valdez, the video shows the band members going through several costume changes – one of which sees frontman Corey Taylor sporting a blond mullet.

Recorded at Sphere Studios in North Hollywood, CA with producer Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Steel Panther), Hydrograd is Stone Sour’s sixth full-lenght studio record. Album further features such volatile tracks as Taipei Person/Allah Tea, Mercy, or Fabuless. The latter track’s official companion video (directed by Paul Brown), has received over 5 million views on their official YouTube channel.

“I’m really excited – this album is great because it’s got elements of everything. It’s got the heavy energy of the 80s, punk moments, hard rock moments – all the great amalgam of music. It’s probably the coolest album I’ve made since the first Slipknot album. I feel very confident making that statement because it’s so good.” said previously singer Corey Taylor, speaking about the new album.
