Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline Nova Rock 2016!
Organizers of Nova Rock festival are proud happy to announce one of headliners for 2016 – RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS! The band played last time at this festival 12 years ago in front of 75.000 people.
When it comes to music Red Hot Chili Peppers have done it all. Their original rock funk mix is highly contagious. The American band is a massive force in the business. In 2012, the four were – well deserved – immortalized in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their 11th album, in the making since early this year, is produced by Danger Mouse who is known for his work with artists like The Black Keys and Jack White. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Anthony Kiedis says: “The new material is as good as any songs we’ve ever written. Danger Mouse is very good about coming up with super-modern ideas, but he’ll also touch on the acoustic guitar in the control room and strip the song down to its acoustic essentials”. At this performance by America’s most hot blooded band, it will be a case of the classic mixed in with the new songs.
Except Red Hot Chili Peppers the festival will offer at 3 stages performances of NOFX, DISTURBED, VOLBEAT, ALICE COOPER and other acts, which will be announced later. In 2016 the festival will have additional warm up day. The festival will start on Thursday evening (9th June), and will take place till Sunday, 12th June.
