After posting up nearly 200 million total streams on last year’s sophomore blockbuster Trauma, I Prevail shares its latest hit single Hurricane acoustically, highlighting the poignant lyrics, vulnerable performance, and impressive songwriting. It illuminates another side of the Michigan group and exerts a different kind of power from the original.

Hurricane has been storming up the rock charts and is the highest charting song of I Prevail’s career to date, as it reaches #2 this week on the Mediabase and BDS Rock Charts.

Hurricane is one of the most important songs on Trauma. It was one of the first tracks we wrote for the album and it became a pillar in building the central message and sound we wanted to create. From the day we wrote it, there was a vision for a stripped-down version of the song that would allow us to explore more delicate instrumentation, production, and vocals. This version definitely brings to life a different mood and atmosphere to experience the track,” comments the band.

I Prevail received nominations for two GRAMMY Awards in 2020 – in the categories of Best Rock Album for Trauma and for Best Metal Performance for Bow Down. The band will return to the road in Spring 2020 on an arena tour in the US -their second in a row- supporting Five Finger Death Punch.
