Turbowolf did not make it to Rock for People last year so they’ll make it right this year. Heavy rock group from England will definitely rock your ears. They gained their renown by self-confident and powerful live shows. The original combination of heavy metal, rock and electronic inputs will definitely please all who do not spend the afternoons pursuing butterflies! They released the last studio album Two Hands last year.

Anti-Flag are a needle which indiscriminately injects where it suspects inequality and unfair conduct. Their lyrics take to task not only political and social issues, senseless wars, corporate greed and recklessness, media manipulation but also struggle for human and animal rights or ecology. In short, punk with a clear attitude. They are famous, not just for their pronounced attitude and activism, but also for the explosive concert shows.

It’s Everyone Else are the fresh new discovery from the showcasse festival MENT in Ljubljana. The Slovenian duo Lucijan Prelog and Pika Golob is known for their wild and untamed live performances. They combine distorted synths, glitchy samples and two merciless vocals to create an eclectic mix of industrial, hardcore, rock, noise and pop. They released two albums – Is it me? in 2012 and New Religion in 2014. They are planning to release the third album in autumn this year.

London trio, Arcane Roots, are most often placed in the box pertaining to rock or alternative rock. This tag is as misleading as it is meaningless. In their works you can find traces of serious post-hardcore, experimental math rock and sometimes even playful indie rock. Pay attention to the sharp guitar riffs, the pounding cadence of drums and the insistent vocals of singer Andrew Groves.

They raised awareness with the release of their fully fledged debut album, ‘Blood & Chemistry’ in 2013. This was followed up last year with the release of the EP ‘Heaven & Earth’, and should soon be followed by a second album.

English band RavenEye have opened for Deep Purple, Joe Satriani and, above all, for Slash in Prague. Considering that the band was only formed in 2014, it’s a pretty respectable performance. This rock trio endorse the legacy of garage rock and blues rock. Less than a month after the release of their first single ‘Breaking Out’ at the beginning of 2015, they had achieved 100,000 listens. The EP of the same name was then released in April. Their live performances are starting to give them a reputation as one of the most energetic and captivating bands around.

Black Peaks really love the idea of not fitting into something straightforward and easy – they like confusing people a bit, making them work for it. Is it harcore? Or rather metal? Or math rock? The sure thing is that they are bunch of great musicicans playing music built on guitar riffs and vocally gifted frontman. Their frenetic and confrontational shows are as they say for anyone, play anytime, anywhere. They released their debut album Statues on 26th February this year.
