Aerodrome festival changing its concept and announce first bands for 2018!
Czech festival Aerodrome is celebrating its fifth year at the end of next June with several important changes! The festival is growing in number of days and stages, offering even more international stars across a number of musical genres.
After this year, featuring rock, hip-hop and pop artists, Aerodrome Festival will open up its genre spectrum even further. The organizers are taking this as the first step toward major international events, where genre plays no role and artists of many different styles take the stage.
Next year’s festival program will expand to three days and two stages. Instead of six participants like this year, next year Aerodrome fans can look forward to thirty acts. The first eight are already lined up, including three main stars for stage one and three headliners for stage two.
Stage one – filled with pop, indie, hip hop and electronica – will be headlined by one of the most influential industrial bands of the 20th and 21st century – Nine Inch Nails, and two giant hip hop artists – Macklemore and Wiz Khalifa. The fourth headliner will be announced very soon.
Stage two will be dedicated to rock, metal and hardcore fans, with acts like Limp Bizkit, Parkway Drive, Stone Sour, Bullet for My Valentine, Hollywood Undead and many more!
2018’s Aerodrome Festival will held from 28th to 30th June. Tickets are available on www.aerodrome.cz. First 2000 tickets is available just for 2.990,- CZK.
The festival will also be leaving Prague for the airport in Panenský Týnec, which presents two indisputable advantages: the music program will not be subject to any curfew restrictions, so the festivities can continue into the early morning hours, and attendees will also be able to camp out on festival grounds.
