Against The Current to play one-off UK headline show ahead of Reading & Leeds festival!
Hail from New York, USA, pop rock phenomenon Against the Current have announced one-off headline show in London’s club Borderline, ahead of their performance at Reading & Leeds festival.
Against The Current was formed by Chrissy Costanza, Dan Gow and Will Ferri in 2011 in Poughkeepsie, NY. In mid-2012 they’ve unveiled the first song, Thinking, and self-released two EPs. In the past few years, they has grown from an upstart band to an unstoppable, hardworking trio ready to take over the world with their debut album In Our Bones (2016), full of intelligent pop songs.
“Next month we’re going to be playing the main stage at the iconic Reading and Leeds festivals, and it’s all thanks to all of you. In December of 2014 we travelled to the United Kingdom for the first time ever, we had no idea what to expect. You brought us from a packed out sweaty rock club in London, to one of the biggest stages your country has to offer – we did it together… and we owe you. Before we take the big stage, we decided to warm up on the small one right where it all started,” states the band in the show announcement.
Against The Current will take the stage of Borderline in London on August 24th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow 9:00 AM.
