BBC wins Broadcaster Of The Year at the 2021 New York Festivals Radio Awards!
The BBC Radio has won 2021 Broadcaster Of The Year at this year’s New York Festivals Radio Awards, with BBC Sounds podcast I’m Not A Monster taking home the Grand Jury Prize for Best Non Fiction Series.
New York Festivals Radio Awards celebrates world class audio work created by global storytellers from over 30 countries. The 2021 Radio Awards Grand Jury panel honours riveting podcasts and audiobooks, dramas, documentaries, breaking news coverage, entertainment and music specials created by masterful audio storytellers from around the globe.
Across its radio networks, the BBC collected 14 gold awards, 7 silver and 10 bronze with podcast series’ including I’m Not A Monster, Where Is George Gibney and Fight Of The Century all picking up several each.
