Sziget festival has a lot of to offer when it comes to music from all genres and an endless variety of music running non-stop. Program of the festival is still expanding as there are more than 50 venues which will entertain the Szitizens for a whole week.
The biggest headliners, the most exciting bands of today, the freshest European talents, world music performers from all over the world, the biggest DJs and many more. It is worth to take a look at the already announced performers of Sziget as it will be a really intensive week. Organizers now extends the line up with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Biffy Clyro, Birdy, Breaking Benjamin, Tycho, Don Diablo, Marteria, Allah-Las, Bakermat and HVOB.
Featuring not only music, but contemporary theatre, circus, art and much more, Sziget is one of the biggest multicultural events of Europe. Taking place in the heart of Budapest, on the picturesque Óbuda Island, the festival welcomes almost 500,000 visitors from over 100 countries to express themselves on their self-proclaimed Island of Freedom.
In 2017, Sziget festival celebrates its 25th anniversary. Hundreds of acts and programs will take place at the event, which is held between 9th – 16th August. Tickets are sold on www.szigetfestival.com/tickets, currently for a discounted price 299€ (until May 31st). One-day tickets are also available, priced at 65€.
