Bryan Adams signs global deal with BMG!
Canadian multi-platinum rock star Bryan Adams announce signing a global recordings agreement with BMG to release his upcoming studio album. It’s Adams’ first new label deal in more than 40 years.
Bryan Adams’ influence extends four decades. Throughout the career he has released 14 studio albums and soundtracked a good portion of kids’ lives with hits like Heaven, All For Love (feat. Rod Stewart and Sting), Run To You, Summer of ’69, among many others.
His biggest hit came courtesy of the early nineties – power ballad (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, topped the Hot 100 for seven weeks and went on to become not only Billboard’s No. 1 song of the summer of 1991, but the top title of the entire year.
Adams’ most recent recording, Shine a Light, whose title track was co-written by Ed Sheeran, was released in March 2019. The upcoming one doesn’t have a title or release date yet, but the new single is about to come in October this year.
“I’m so delighted to join the BMG team, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the new music,” shares excitement the singer.
“As soon as we met with Bryan and his team to listen to the album, we instantly connected with the songs. This record is the perfect showcase of his exceptional artistry, performing all the music while also producing. We are very proud to welcome him to BMG, his first new label home in 40 years, and provide our best-in-class global service to a global superstar of his stature,” says BMG President Repertoire & Marketing, Los Angeles and New York, Thomas Scherer.
Adams’ longtime manager Bruce Allen adds: “I look forward to working with the BMG team in this next chapter of Bryan’s career.”
