Hellfest goes virtual with performances from Parkway Drive, Sepultura, Anti-Flag and more!
There will be no congregation of heavy music fans in Clisson, France this year as COVID-19 has claimed another casualty among summer festivals. Hellfest Summer Open Air has announced a virtual music experience however that is a nice substitute during these times of no live performances.
Starting on June 19th and running through June 21st, Hellfest From Home will broadcast 15 different performances each day, with a roster of bands that will keep fans glued to the stream.
Friday includes the likes of Children of Bodom, Devildriver, Opeth, Beartooth and even Lynyrd Skynyrd. Saturday will feature Faith No More, Turbonegro, Sepultura, At The Gates, Every Time I Die, and punk legends Bad Religion. Rounding out the weekend, Sunday will showcase Gallows, Madball, Exodus, Parkway Drive, Bullet For My Valentine, Suicidal Tendencies, and Prophets of Rage.
“It was clearly impossible for the whole team not to prepare something for you next weekend to make you relive the mood of the festival from your home! We are looking forward to your most beautiful photos of circle pit in the living room or wall of death in the garden!” states organizers.
The festivities begin on Thursday June 18th, with Hellfest airing their never-before-seen documentary, Hellfest: 15 Years of Noise and Fury. For additional details, specific times, and the complete broadcast be sure to visit www.hellfest.fr and/or www.fb.com/hellfest.
