Imagine Dragons announced as first headliner of Lovestream festival 2023!
After a successful first edition in 2022, Lovestream festival announce one of the most in-demand concert bands of today, Imagine Dragons, as its first headliner for the next year. All fans can look forward for their show full of hits on Sunday, August 20th, 2023.
A distinctive sound, catchy melodies and plenty of hits behind them – that is Imagine Dragons, featuring Dan Reynolds (vocals), Ben McKee (bass), Wayne Sermon (guitar) and Daniel Platzman (drums). They are one of the best-selling bands of the 21st century, having sold more than 75 million albums to this date. Their songs Believer, Thunder and Radioactive were named as Billboard magazine’s top rock songs of the decade.
Imagine Dragons’ most recent, sixth studio album Mercury: Act 2, came out this summer. In September they also released an extended deluxe edition of the debut Night Visions to celebrate its 10-year anniversary.
“After the inaugural year of the festival, we want to keep the bar just as high and I hope we will succeed in that with this great band. We are even more pleased because this will be a 90-minute full concert [of Imagine Dragons] which will be a beautiful ending of our three-day event. Due to this headliner too, we have decided to move the date to August, and we hope all fans will appreciate that,” says organizer Silvia Nemčovičová.
Hits such as Thunder, Natural, Demons, Believer, Bones or the groundbreaking Radioactive will definitely feature at the Lovestream festival, which will take place on August 18th to 20th (Friday – Sunday). In 2023, the festival is moving to a new location in the capital – the old airport Vajnory, Bratislava and visitors can expect many extra activities, several stages, a camping area and a lot more.
