After a five-year break, the guitarist of cult thrash metallers Slayer who disbanded in 2019, Kerry King has recently returned with his solo project and the album From Hell I Rise, which will be released on May 17th. Supported by top-class musicians such as Mark Osegueda (Death Angel), on the mic, bassist Kyle Sanders (ex-Hellyeah), guitarist Phil Demmel (Vio-lence, ex-Machine Head) and a colleague from the Slayer days, Paul Bostaph, on drums – Kerry King wants to remain musically true to his Slayer heritage.

Crossover pioneers H-Blockx who have also joined the line-up of Rock am Ring & Rock im Park 2024, celebrating the 30th anniversary of their pioneering debut album Time To Move (1994), which not only achieved gold status but was also named album of the year at the time, spending 62 weeks in the charts. After the band led by singer Henning Wehland returned to the stage in 2020 after a long absence from live performances, the four of them showed that they are still among the spearheads of German rock acts. The festival fans will be able to see for themselves just how fresh their [H-Blockx] music sounds.

Weekend-passes for both festivals are still available to order at www.eventim.de. The demand for tickets is strong and the anticipation among fans is huge and growing every day.
