Copenhell is getting ready for the music event of the year in 2021 with another bunch of artists to join next year’s powerful line-up. The Denmark’s biggest rock and metal festival will held in capital Copenhagen, from June 16th to 19th.

The legendary rock band KISS will visit Copenhell festival on their End of the Road farewell tour. This will be the very last chance to experience their iconic stage show before they say goodbye. The band has entertained music lovers all over the world throughout more than four decades with lots of pyrotechnics, crazy costumes and wild stunts, and not least a catchy combination of progressive hard rock and heavy metal. You can look forward to experiencing the very last show ever with The Starchild, The Demon, The Spaceman and The Catman on Danish soil when the Copenhell 2021 headliner takes the stage.

Phil Anselmo with his band Down has visited Copenhell for the first time in 2013, and they will make a return to the festival next summer. The band has not performed live since 2016, but it has been reunited in celebration of the 25-year anniversary of their debut release Nola from 1995. Down was formed in 1991 when a super group of artists from Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, Goatwhore and Crowbar, among others, started jamming and writing music together. They play heavy metal that draws upon a lot of different genres, from sludge metal and stoner rock to punk and blues rock, which is first and foremost characterized by shredding riffs and Anselmo’s unmistakable, angry vocals.

Nu-metalists Korn performed at Copenhell in 2011 and will return to the festival in 2021. Their latest release, The Nothing (2019), shows a band at their absolute peak more than 25 years into their career. Their music is tight as hell, and lead singer Jonathan Davis’ vocals are even more driven by his inner demons and existential pain than ever before. This will be a great reunion with both great metal classics and a great band that only got better with time.

The Southern Californian punk rock veterans from Bad Religion have held their banner high for more than four decades with their politically charged music. The US and the rest of the world are still the subject of criticism in their angry songs, with Greg Graffin’s familiar vocals interact perfectly with the intense rhythms and catchy riffs. You can look forward to a really entertaining and energetic concert.

Canadian musician Devin Townsend was originally frontman of the metal band Strapping Young Lad, but today he is best known for his long and glorious solo career, particularly with The Devin Townsend Project, which entered a hiatus in 2018. His 2019’s record Empath was an attempt to gather all of this versatile musician’s sources of inspiration and styles in one album, that shows his incredible instrumental and vocal dynamic range. This will be a treat for music enthusiasts who love hard and experimental music.
