Korn and Limp Bizkit announce co-headline UK arena tour!
Live Nation are thrilled to announce that Korn & Limp Bizkit are set to hit the road for their first UK tour together since 1997. The epic co-headline arena run will start in Manchester on December 12th. Tickets go on sale 9am Friday 16th September from www.livenation.co.uk.
With a staggering 75 million album sales between them, Korn and Limp Bizkit blazed a trail across the late nineties that has endured to this day and changed the face of popular culture forever. With co-headline tours such as 1999’s Family Values becoming the stuff of legend, they garnered a reputation of being two of the most exciting, controversial and formidable live bands in the world, a legacy that is still as true today as it was nearly twenty years ago. Now, in 2016, with their sonic influence on young bands being more prevalent than ever, two of metal’s most important and prevailing acts will be co-headlining arenas across the UK together once again, a phenomenal occurrence that hasn’t happened for nearly 2 decades – this is set to be THE tour of 2016.
Limp Bizkit are firmly and undeniably established as one of the most unmissable live acts around. With massive hits such as Rollin, Break Stuff, Nookie and recently the likes of Gold Cobra and Ready To Go fans are guaranteed a set of all killer, non-stop party starters.
Speaking on their impending reunion with co-headliners Korn and their return to the UK, Limp Bizkit frontman, Fred Durst had the following to say: “You may have experienced a lot of cool concerts in your life, but I can guarantee you that an evening with Korn and Limp Bizkit will always and forever be your favorite. No one brings the party harder, heavier, and more exciting than us. No one! And… make sure you get plenty of rest the night before. It’s time to bring it back!”
Korn’s hotly anticipated, twelfth studio album, The Serenity of Suffering, is set for release on 21st October via Roadrunner Records. The video for the album’s first single, Rotting In Vain has just under 6 million views to date and stars Sons of Anarchy actor Tommy Flanagan together with Korn.
