Eight months before the gates open of VOLT Festival, organized in Sopron, three international stars starts the vibe around VOLT. Rock ‘n’ roll legend Motörhead, as well as now world famous British superstar, John Newman and French Lilly Wood will be there between 1-4 July, 2015. Tickets are already available for the event.

“We are Motörhead, we play rock and roll!” – this phrase that we hear at every concert says more than any difficult definition. The beauty of it all is that Motörhead has never deviated from its own philosophy. They’ve created thundering albums in all eras of their three and a half decades-long career. The band, with history of decades, can be bravely called the crowned kings of rock and roll, who now relocate their throne to Sopron.

The 25-year-old John Newman had his debut in front of Hungarian audience this summer. The born to be world-famous young British singer was blessed with a unique voice, millions love his songs worldwide, his voice is not only fits perfectly to the atmosphere of soul music, but it easily melts into the world of electronic music too. His vocals can be heard in Rudimental’s biggest d’n’b hits, and the colossal soul ballad Love Me Again. A few weeks ago his song featuring Calvin Harris, Blame went for a world conquering tour, which we’re going to hear a lot until VOLT Festival.

There is no radio station or music chart, which wasn’t conquered in 2014 by Lilly Wood. A duo, Parisians, who operate with passionlessly cool, informal, light-hearted, catchy pop songs colored with folky elements, and one of the most engaging songs in recent times, the Prayer in C, is linked to their name. This is going be their first time in Hungary, where undoubtedly thousands of fans are waiting for their live debut.
