Nova Rock festival reveals other headliners for 2017!
Line up of Nova Rock festival for 2017 is getting stronger with newly announced bands, which will hit the stages on Pannonia fields next summer. Alongside previously announced headliner GREEN DAY, the festival in 2017 will be headlined also by SYSTEM OF A DOWN, LINKIN PARK and BLINK-182.
System of a Down was formed in 1994 in Glandale, California. Four years later they released their first eponymous album defying all genres, followed by their breakthrough album Toxicity in 2001. It won them a critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide. The following albums Steal This Album, Hypnotize and Mezmerize, met with a similar success. The band have reached the top and they have become one of the best world’s rocking bands. They have sold more than 13 million albums worldwide and won dozens of platinum, gold and silver records.
Only very few bands manage to break through worldwide upon releasing their first album, but Linkin Park earned that distinction in 2000, with the best-selling debut of the 21st century – Hybrid Theory. They has sold over 50 million worldwide with platinum album sales in 34 countries across 5 continents and played thousands shows worldwide. The band is also the biggest one on Facebook, with over 62 million fans and counting, and also incredibly popular on YouTube, with nearly 7 million subscribers, and views exceeding 5 billion.
Since their humble beginnings twenty-four years ago, when they started playing in a San Diego garage, Blink-182 has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and rocked audiences all over the world having become one of the defining rock bands of their generation. They combine high-energy dynamics with an artistic ambition that transcends any genre. Now with Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio), joining them as singer/guitarist, the group has started a new chapter.
