Iconic pop-synth duo Pet Shop Boys announce details of their highly anticipated new studio album, Hotspot, which is set to be released on January 24th, 2020, via x2 Records/Kobalt. The upcoming record will come as a CD, vinyl and digitally and is available to pre-order now.

Pet Shop Boys’ new album was mostly written and recorded in Berlin, Germany and Los Angeles, California, US. The album was produced and mixed by Stuart Price, who worked with the band also on their previous 2013’s Electric and 2016’s Super.

“We’ve written much of our music over the last ten years in Berlin and it was an exciting experience to work on this album in the legendary Hansa studios there and add a new dimension to our sound,” says the duo, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe.

Hotspot features 10 brand new tracks, including previous single Dreamland (feat. Years & Years), released earlier this year and new track Burning The Heather, with Bernard Butler on guitar.
