Simple Plan will return to Hungary this summer with a special anniversary show!
Two years since their latest performance, to Hungary will return Canadian punk-rock band Simple Plan. This time, they will play headline show in Budapest Park, with a special setlist to celebrate a 15th anniversary of their first record.
Back in 2002, on March 19th, Simple Plan has released their debut album called No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls!. The album contains 12 songs overall, including hit singles Perfect, I’m Just a Kid, Addicted or I’d Do Anything (featuring Mark Hoppus from Blink-182). On the album also collaborated Joel Madden from Good Charlotte (on the track You Don’t Mean Anything). Despite it was the first record, NPNHJB achieved a great success. With more than 4 million sold copies worldwide it’s Simple Plan’s most successful and best selling album to date.
“It’s hard to believe that this year, we celebrating the 15th anniversary of our debut album. No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls! changed everything for us and we are so excited to play all these songs again and relive a time in our lives full of so many amazing memories,” says singer of the band, Pierre Bouvier.
Simple Plan will visit Budapest on Tuesday, July 13th. As a special guests will perform american band Four Year Strong, and UK’s Mallory Knox and Milestones. Tickets are sold here and through www.ticketportal.hu.
