Story Of The Year premieres new music video Praying For Rain!
US rock band Story Of The Year have today premiered new music video for the track Praying For Rain, from their recently released and critically acclaimed album Wolves, produced by Aaron Sprinkle and mixed by Tom Lord-Alge & J Hall.
The video was created by Story Of The Year guitarist Ryan Phillips, along with every other visual content from the start of their return last year. This is just the start of how involved in this entire project the band has been. With essential freedom in the creation of this record, the band poured out their honest emotions into every track, wearing their hearts on their sleeves. On the production side, this is the band’s first album that was recorded in pieces, in separate locations without a timeline requiring them to settle on decisions quickly. Wolves is full of depth as the band continues down a supercharged anthemic road of alternative rock/hard rock songs while remaining consistent to their classic soaring sound.
Story of the Year’s current line up is Dan Marsala (vocals), Ryan Phillips (guitar), Josh Wills (drums) and Philip “Moon” Sneed (bass). They are celebrating the release of Wolves with special album release shows, including the recently announced New York City appearance at Gramercy Theatre on March 16th. This will be Story Of The Year’s first show back in the Big Apple since their last sold-out appearance in 2013. Earlier this month, the band held a sold out album release shows in Chicago and St. Louis.
