Another confirmed headliner for Topfest 2014 is Swedish heavy-metal band SABATON. They will perform on thursday 26th June 2014 and gets spot on the stage after performance of Kabat.

Sabaton was formed in 1999, in Falun, Sweden and up to now has released 7 studio albums. Their latest full-length record Heroes was released on 16th May. Album Heroes was recorded at Abyss Studio, along with producer Peter Tägtgren (Amorphis,Children Of Bodom and more), with whom Sabaton already worked on their previous platinum album Carolus Rex.

Sabaton is currently playing in line-up: Joakim Brodén (vocals), Chris Rörland (guitar), Thobbe Englund (guitar), Pär Sundström (bass) and Hannes van Dahl (drums). They’ve played at the biggest festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Woodstock, Nova Rock. In Sweden they have their own festival Sabaton Open Air.

Legendary Slovak rock band TEAM is next confirmed artist which will be playing at 11th edition of music festival Topfest. Star of the Slovak music scene will perform at Topfest after 5 years.

TEAM is known for their rare appearances at summer festivals. Back in 2009 they have played on the same stage as headliner Limp Bizkit. “Although the songs of Team are well known to middle generations, we was surprised that young people enjoyed their performance. It was one of the best shows at Topfest ever. We are very delighted that Team came back to Topfest,” said Dusan Drobny from organization team.

The other bands which will be presented during the last weekend of june are Thirty Seconds To Mars, Helloween, Horkyze Slize, Tomas Klus, IMT Smile, Desmod, Helenine Oci, Smola a Hrusky, Zoci Voci… Tickets to Topfest are still available on www.ticketportal.sk for price 43€ /normal ticket or 120€ /VIP ticket.
