The Chemical Brothers to release exclusive 11 minute epic remix on 12-inch vinyl for RSD 2020!
Following the recent launch of London Design Museum Exhibition Electronic, The Chemical Brothers are releasing a very special vinyl product exclusively for Record Store Day 2020. The release will be available exclusively in independent record stores on Saturday, August 29th.
The limited edition 180g 12″ inch will contain two tracks never before released on vinyl. The first, Surrender To Love, an eleven minute long, deeply psychedelic trip through the heart of Surrender at the hands of pioneering Australian duo The Avalanches. Exclusive to this 12” release, Surrender To Love, features snatches of tracks from The Chemical Brothers’ career-defining third album (including Dream On, Setting Sun and Out of Control), alongside samples from archival interviews with the band. The effect is a fully immersive audio experience that reimagines Surrender in the style of The Avalanches’ own classic 2000 debut album Since I Left You. On the flip is The Avalanches mix of Out of Control. This mix was edited from the longer Surrender To Love track and previously released digitally in 2019.
The artwork of the release is a brand new screen print of the original Out Of Control single art created by original Surrender artwork designer Kate Gibb.
