The Fever 333 set to headline Heavy Music Awards 2018!
California’s incendiary crossover sensation The Fever 333 are set to headline the second annual Heavy Music Awards at London’s KOKO on August 23rd, with support from Milk Teeth, Black Peaks and Coldbones.
The Fever 333 – trio which features former letlive. vocalist Jason Aalon Butler, ex-The Chariot guitarist Stephen Harrison and drummer Aric Improta, who also features in instrumentalists Night Verses, recently made their European debut at Download Festival, packing out the Avalanche stage and putting on one of the most energetic and memorable shows in the festival’s history. With a powerful socio-political message and the music to back it up, the band have rapidly picked up critical acclaim and are set to bring the curtain down on HMA18 in style.
Main support on the night are Milk Teeth. In between crossing their fingers as finalists in the Best UK Breakthrough Band category, the Stroud quartet will be bringing a huge grunge/punk party as main support with cuts from their twin EPs Be Nice and Go Away.
Second on, Rise Records’ Black Peaks, who will be showcasing songs from their upcoming sophomore album All That Divides. Having welcomed the band to HMA17 as finalists in the Best UK Band category, we could not be more excited to have them onstage for a full set this time out.
Opening proceedings at KOKO are Kent’s instrumental progressive metal outfit Coldbones, who’s recent debut album Where It All Began has been picking up rave reviews across the board.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this incredible night, alongside some of the most exciting bands around at the moment. The team behind the HMAs are doing an amazing job of creating something very special,” says bassist Nick Suchak.
