Topfest 2015 announce new bands in line up!
On the 12th year of the rock festival Topfest, which take place from 26th to 27th June 2015, at the airport in Piestany, Slovakia will finally play punk legend The Exploited. Due to cancelled show caused by health issues of the singer Wattie Buchan in 2014, the band will come play to Piestany this year.
Organizers of Topfest now added to line up also the finnish power metal band Stratovarius, Korben Dallas, Support Lesbiens, Hex, Smola a Hrusky, Zoci Voci and INEKAFE, which celebrating 20 years on the scene with the new album Nevhodny Typ and a huge European tour.
Scotish band The Exploited was founded in 1980 in Edinburgh. The band has released nine studio albums. Their debut album Punk’s Not Dead (1981), become the legendary record. The record title became somewhat of a self-fulfilling prophecy, charting at #1 as the independent album of the year , reaching number 20 in the national charts and selling 150,000 copies.
The Exploited is currently playing in line-up – Wattie Buchan (vocals), Wullie Buchan (drums), Matt Justice (guitar) and Irish Rob (bass guitar).
Finnish power metal band Stratovarius was founded in 1984, originally under the name Black Water. From 1985, the name had changed to Stratovarius (a combination of Stratocaster and Stradivarius). The band has released 15 studio albums. Their latest album Nemesis was released in 2013.
Stratovarius is currently playing in line-up – Timo Kotipelto (vocals), Jens Johansson (keybords), Lauri Porra (bass), Matias Kupiainen (guitar) and Rolf Pilve (drums).
Tickets to Topfest 2015 are sold for price 38€ on www.ticketportal.sk and www.shop.zijemehudbou.sk . In sale are also VIP tickets which including sitting on stands, air-conditioned tent, refreshments, flushing toilets with sinks and VIP parking.
