UK progressive metal band Haken releases the brand new single Nightingale, off their upcoming seventh studio album. The song showcases the first new material with returning keyboard player, Pete Jones.

Haken are currently gearing up for the North American tour, begins with Cruise To The Edge, leaving port on May 2nd, followed by an expansive trek alongside Symphony X, set to go ahead on May 10th, 2022 in New York City and running through the month until June 12th, when concludes in New Jersey.

Nightingale is the band’s first new music since their last album Virus came out, back in 2020. The song ranges from delicate moments to monstrous riffs. Lyrically, it reflects on the creative process itself, with a message that although it may be difficult of late, we must remember to be thankful for the positives in life – be they big or small.
