Live Nation UK set to have a record summer!
Summer is here and Live Nation UK has started a record-breaking outdoor season. Over the months of June, July and August, they will host nearly 6 million people, attending live shows across the UK. All info on the upcoming shows and festivals can be found at www.livenation.co.uk/summerishere.
This year is set to be Live Nation UK’s biggest summer ever, with fans attending over 100 events: 4 million will attend a festival or outdoor event, while nearly 2 million will attend shows at indoor venues across the country. With Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, Eagles, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Billie Eilish all on tour, there are more options than ever for fans.
June kicked off with over 200,000 people at the new Creamfields South and Liam Gallagher performance at Knebworth, over the bank holiday weekend. This weekend was Download festival and Parklife festival which saw more than 300,000 visitors descend on Donington and Heaton Park, with headline sets from Kiss, Iron Maiden, Biffy Clyro, 50 Cent, Chase & Status, Tyler, The Creator and Bicep.
